Testing MACS in the Windows 2000 and Windows ME and XP environments has
been successfully completed. You will need to update MACS to Version 3.5
if you have updated your version of Windows to NT, 2000, Me or XP. Check
below for resources to support MACS with these operating systems. Upgrades
to these operating systems may produce different results.
MACS 3.5

Possible login problems
- If you have Upgraded Windows and experience Error 41 in MRPSP7-4050, when logging on,
- At the Error 41 in Program MRPSP7-4050 press the "F4" key once and you will see ERROR 38 in program CUTSA0-7791.
- Hold the "Ctrl" Key and strike the "D" key at the same time.
- Type GOTO 7792 and press Enter.
- Type RUN this will get into MACS but you will need to install the update.
Windows 2000
- Refer to Memo #453A
for information about running MACS under Windows 2000
- When you send reports to a network printer, you must select Windows Print (W)
unless there is a printer on LPT1.
Windows XP
- Refer to Memo #453B
for information about running MACS under Windows XP.
- When you send reports to a network printer, you must select Windows Print (W)
unless there is a printer on LPT1.
Windows ME
- Refer to Memo #453C
for information about running MACS under Windows Me.
- Set shortcut properties the same as those for Windows 95/98. On the Program tab,
check the box labeled "Prevent MS-DOS based programs from detecting Windows."
- When you send reports to a network printer, select only defined
printers 1-6.
Windows Printing (W) will not be available.
