MACS Spreadsheet Export Module
The Spreadsheet Export module provides the ability to create a file in
the Microsoft Excel format. The spreadsheet is created while printing a sales
analysis report using the MACS Sales Analysis Report Generator. This
module does not include nor does it require the Microsoft Excel program.
Virtually all spreadsheet and graphics programs have the ability to read a
file in this format. This gives the agency the ability to analyze sales
information in many ways.
Features
- Each spreadsheet created contains 76 pre-defined columns.
- Sales and commission figures for this year and the previous three
years are included.
- Monthly sales figures for the past 25 months are included.
- Optionally, MACS can put order or commissions received information
into the spreadsheet.
- Customer, manufacturer and salesmen names are included with their
sales analysis codes.
- Each spreadsheet column is headed with the appropriate title.
- The total from the accompanying sales analysis report is always put
into one spreadsheet row.
- Additional spreadsheet rows hold information corresponding to one
line on the printed report.
Pivot Tables
The Spreadsheet Export Module also produces spreadsheets using the Pivot
Table feature of Microsoft Excel. As a result, you can easily and
dynamically analyze your sales data in spreadsheet form.
Professional Graphs Created Quickly and Easily Using the Spreadsheet
Export Module
- Many graphics programs are available to create professional graphs
from data contained in spreadsheets.
- The MACS Spreadsheet Export module does not include a graphics
program. However, most of the commercially available programs will
import data in the Microsoft Excel format.
- Shown here are two graphs easily created for the spreadsheet shown
on the previous page.
- The data contained in the graph was read directly from the
spreadsheet file into the graphics program without re-entry of any of
the numbers.
