MACS Management Inquiry Module
Management Inquiry provided instantaneous on-screen sales and
commission information. Management Inquiry module of MACS uses a unique
method of presenting information on the screen using split-screens,
graphics, and a simple, logical progression:
- The screens begin with summary totals for the entire agency and a
set of secondary subtotals.
- Selection of one of the subtotals moves to the next level where that
subtotal is displayed with its appropriate subtotals.
- This process continues, moving up or down one level of detail. At
any time, the current selection may be exploded to display detailed
data.
Below is a simple progression of Management Inquiry screens showing how
information can be retrieved.
Totals are displayed for each line the agency represents. Additional
data for a manufacturer will be displayed by merely selecting a row
number, such as row 5. Click on row 5 below to follow the progression to
the next screen.

for the manufacturer selected. The lower part of the screen shows the
manufacturer totals and sub-totals for each salesman in the agency.
